Yossi Green (born in Tel Aviv, Israel) is a composer of Jewish religious music. His works includes some major hits of the Jewish industry. He wrote his first international hit song for Yigal Calek and the London School of Jewish Song in 1973. His latest solo album, The 8th Note, was awarded "Best Album of 2008,″ "Best Debut Album of 2008″ from Israel's Radio Kol Chai and had two songs on the stations top 10 song-list of 2008.
He has composed close to 500 songs on over 120 CDs. Most of his lyrics are drawn from primary Jewish texts (Torah, Midrash & Talmud) while some are drawn from other Jewish source (biographies of famous Rabbis, such as Ramban).

Yossi started with the traditional Jewish music style songs. he then moved on to a new, upbeat, techno style which really can be heard on the album Nissim by Shloime Gertner. after that, he has went back to his old style of songs which can be heard on Yaakov Shwekey's new album, Ad Bli Dai on the song Teshuva and Menagen
