Ronit Akavia lives in Qadima, Israel. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Textile Design at the Shenkar College of Textile Technology and Fashion.

Ronit has worked in a variety of media, but when she began to use polyester resin; a translucent multicolor substance, she found a material that permitted her to bring to life many of her design ideas.

The catalog of Ronit Akavia Designs has rapidly expanded in recent years, and now it contains many different items: bowls, plates, key-chains, boxes, mobiles, drawer handles, ornaments for children rooms, bathroom accessories, tabletops, lamps, etc.
